Android Driver developer

What you will do (tasks):

  • Responsible for the recurring stress test of online problems of Android mobile phones or fusion products, as well as compatibility testing with local third-party applications;
  • Mainly responsible for and be able to independently analyze the fault logs fed back by users, troubleshoot codes according to the log analysis, locate the root cause of the problem independently or with analysis, locate the root cause of the problem independently or with the assistance of the headquarter , and provide solution;
  • Responsible for assisting the R&D department in headquarter, conducting the deployment of problem analysis and locating tools, the accumulation and construction of problem locating capabilities;
  • Travel to the user side to locate user problems when necessary;


Requirements (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor degree or above. Major in computer science, engineering, communication, electronics, information technology and other related majors;
  • Familiar with Java, C/C++ programming language, know about Linux operating system, android SDK;
  • At least 1-5 years of Linux driver experience, with more than 3 kinds of driver development experience, such as HDM, LCD, touch, camera, USB, bt/wifi/ GPS, sensor, power, etc. is preferred
  • Familiar with Android driver debugging process and have experience in systematic problem analysis, handling and debugging;
  • Know about the Android platform and have Android application and framework development capabilities;
  • Familiar with Android debug tools, including: ADB, Systrace, Serial tools etc., and have android log analysis capabilities;
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English within a working environment, great Chinese communication skills are preferred.


About the project :


The client is a top mobile phone manufacturer in China. This is an onsite project. Engineers will work in customer’s office in Germany. Sometimes engineers need to go on short business trips to user site to debug the bugs.
